John Carroll Shultz

Allow me to introduce myself. I am a locally-based Certified Real Estate Sales Professional, and your neighbor.

Early life and education
I grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania. After graduating from high school, rather than attend college, I chose to display my patriotism by enlisting with the Marine Corps. During my enlistment, I was awarded;
Certificate of Commendation, Marine-of-the-Month, two Meritorious promotions and an Honorable Discharge.

After four years in the military, I relocated to Virginia, enrolling in community college, where I earned an Associate's Degree in Police Science. Later in life I was afforded the opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Business degree, from Averett University.

Fifteen years ago, I furthered my education and career by launching my profession in real estate management. My real estate credentials include: Accredited Buyers Representative, Certified Auction Specialist, Certified Sales Professional; Graduate Realtor Institute; and Seniors Real Estate Specialist.

Career
After obtaining my Degree in Police Science, I had the pleasure of working as Security Assistant, for America's favorite weatherman, Willard Scott, until Willard's retirement in 1996. While completing my Bachelor of Business degree, I worked as an Executive Assistant to the CEO of a major corporation in Northern Virginia.

I am now a full-time real estate professional, working with Samson Properties, one of the most recognized names in the real estate community. Teaming with Samson Properties has allowed me to offer a lower real estate fee of 4.5%, saving clients up to 1.5% over other agents. This savings does not, in any way, diminish the level of service provided, for both buyers and sellers.

Philosophy

  • Believe in providing the highest level of customer service in order to help my clients find the home of their dreams. My negotiating skills allow clients to receive the best price.

Setting myself apart from the competition by my personal guarantee that my buyers and sellers will always pay the smallest real estate fees. My motto: "I love doing more for less and keeping more money in my client's pockets!" For example, my house-warming gift, to buyers, is not the typicalfruit basket, rather cash-back, based on the purchase price — never less than $500!

  • Answering my own phone — (571) 201-3204 — no answering service for me! Whether you are a first time buyer or seller, or a repeat customer, all of my client's deserve and receive my personal attention
  • Recognized by the Board of Realtors, as a Multi-Million Dollar Sales producer, by representing clients with an aggressive and fair approach. This philosophy has endowed me with repeat customers and referrals.
